Not too shabby

Pretty short and pointless. I liked it. Made me chuckle. I like your black and white graphics for the characters, with a coloured background. It looked pretty slick. Looks like a fine animator in the works.

Ham-head responds:

Thanks i will cherish your review

Loads okay...

... it loads fine. Sometimes, when a Flash animation doesn't load for a user, it's just a random glitch on their computer. It happens to me all the time.

RainChildProductions responds:

Thank you.

Gore ga-lore!

I was wondering how you created the blood effect? It doesn't look like clay. I was thinking wax. Either way... WOW! That's a LOT of blood! I've never seen a gorier claymation. Well done.

Voodoo-Samurai responds:

It's a mix of cornstarch, water and red food coloring.

Thanks!

Dance music, eh?

I'm not a fan of the electro-dance-club music, but this was kinda funny. The Numa Numa parody made me laugh out loud, even though it's been overdone (I guess it's at a point now where any reference to it is like a parody, therefore funny - like the Matrix). The animation could have been a little better, more smooth. But, not bad.

Snowdragon responds:

I couldn't help the numa numa. It wasn't negotiable with my instincts. Thanks.

Meh.

It wasn't bad. The animation was sorta stagnant. Good lip-syncing, though. And it was tasteful - unlike the one cartoon with the ass-faced news anchor (don't know if you've seen it, but it deals with the same topic with a higher level of ignorance). Plus, it made me chuckle. Simple humour.

jaytmek responds:

nah i didn't see that one! lol! thanks for the review, yeah my animation really needs some work, i'll get there eventuall! thanks!

That was amazing

I saw the stick people and groaned... then it built up, and I realized that this was awesome. I found it hard to believe that all of the music elements were created by gun shots and other weapon sound effects. I strained to hear real instruments or synthesized percussion, but I don't think they're there. The graphics... well, they were stick people. But they were animated very well. It was pretty smooth. Either way, this was stunning to the auditory and visual senses! :O

StealthBeast responds:

Thanks for the review!

glad you enjoyed it, and decided to put your joy into this poetic context lol. (now buy alien hominid and vote 5)

It was a good try

I liked the idea of using toys. I think the only problem was the sound. I was not in sync. Try setting your sound clips to "Stream" instead of "Event" - use your help menu to figure it out if you don't know what I mean. I think this might have been much better had the sound been timed up. Otherwise, you have a great stop motion idea.

DrMackFoxx responds:

I've discovered the problem: the animated text at the beginning is slowing the whole thing down. I'll make the needed adjustments at once.

Animate

Thank for your still frames. I skinny Ethiopian bouncing up in down doesn't count as animation. I can't believe that this is the best that a collaboration of four people could come up with.

rexCo responds:

You forgot the intro, LOL!

Wow...

I'm just happy RupeeClock didn't just vote 5 for you crappy entry just because you're a clock. He should be commended for his dissidence. Please, if you're going to do a clock animation - which at least half of the NG users hate - do a descent one. Not just a ball of Link hovering and talking. I know you said you did it in two days (must have been done sporadically), but next round, try putting in some effort. You obviously have the potential.

TheGreatGrizzly responds:

thanks, on the whole potential thing.I actually want this to be turd of the week. it would be a real honor. actually, I always wanted to make a clock movie. this was really just a test for me, to see if I could sorta do it. which I think I can. if I make a clock movie. I will make it good. I mean my link to the ass movies are pretty good, so I don't see why I can't make something like that using clocks. well, sorry for blabbing so much, but thanks for being honest. Your a good person.

Yes...

...let's ignore the fact that at one point in time, Christians were the backwards, witch-burning, irrational fundamentalists while the Muslims had a vastly superior civilization, developing in both math and science. God bless the medieval times. Today, it's all the same bullshit, just reversed. Don't believe for a second that some Christians aren't equally capable of the shit that a few Muslims are crapping out. If some of the Christian organizations I've seen had their way, even a site like Newgrounds wouldn't exist - at least as we see it. You certainly wouldn't be able to post a Flash with the main character having a giant ass for a face.

That being said... for some reason, a talking ass as a news anchor seems... pretty funny. The voice you did for the Ass Anchor was pretty good - although it eventually got annoying. Your graphics were decent enough... I guess I just don't agree with your politics. Luckily for you, I can't really base my judgement of your Flash solely on that.

beaton responds:

Yeah, yay. They were developing in math and science. And in 2006 can now use it to blow themselves up.

I wasn't advocating Christian history, and witch burning is American history, and we all know their history is thoroughly fucked up.

Christian organizations having their way is irrelevent. It's called the World Wide Web. Anyone from anywhere can make a site about anything they want at anytime.

In this day and age, Christians aren't governed by corrupt leaders like in the old days and they're more peaceful people when protesting, if they can respect what they are taught.

"A few Muslims" -you're just wrong there. It's thousands of Muslims.
The Muslims aren't adjusting to the free speech concept like other countries, and that's the problem. If there was media a thousand years ago, they would be having a tantrum just as they are now.

And the Muslims I mentioned are only the Muslims who are violently protesting the cartoons. And those are the Muslims in the Middle East. In North America for instance, the Muslims' protests are peaceful. Therefore, the problem is the society they're being raised in with their destructive mindset.

"What say you, your neutralness?" "I have no strong feelings one way or the other."
